Gilbert and Mesa Auto Repair

My wife recently received a $4,623.12 repair estimate from a Lexus Dealership for new motor mounts, transmission mount, new high pressure fuel pump gaskets, etc. Some of the estimated repair items were questionable. Fortunately, I was referred to Jeff Giljum of Kelly Automotive by a mutual good friend that runs an Automotive Body Shop. I called Jeff and was able to set a day and time immediately to bring our Lexus 460 LS in for an inspection for the supposed needed repair items. The Kelly Automotive inspection ultimately concurred that we needed new motor mounts and transmission mount. Thus, we took our Lexus back to Kelly Automotive for the needed repairs, which were completed in 2 days. Also, Jeff informed me that Kelly Automotive was able to do the needed repairs in less time than originally estimated. Thus, our final repair cost was $750 less than the original estimate. That was a nice surprise. Overall, Jeff's is a very personable young man with a very high standard of communication, service, professionalism and positive attitude that are considered to be far superior to a typical experience with many other automotive repair companies. Especially when dealing with a Car Dealership Service Department (that are notorious for excessively high labor costs along with overcharging for additional items that don't always need to be repaired and/or replaced). It should be noted that the location of this Kelly Automotive business is not the most convenient in proximity for us. However, we are more than happy to go a little further distance wise when you find an establishment that is willing and able to provide a higher and superior level of service. Thank you!

After taking my vehicle from shop to shop and mechanic to mechanic I was ready to do the work myself or drive my car until the wheels fell off. All in all I was not to thrilled to be taking my car to a different shop; however, after walking into Kelly Automotive, Mesa, I walked out feeling that may be the place. Three days later, my car is there, fixed and back on the road. I know I will be back to complete the extra work needed to be done. Oh and did I mention with their text/email camera shots of the part/section needing work and the detailed explanation of what's wrong, Kelly Automotive will be the place for all my automotive needs.

The maintenance that was done to my Caravan was just fantastic. Turn times were out of this world....couldn't be happier. Jeff Giljum (The Service Manager) pulling out all the stops to get the parts needed for my van was very impressive. Mark (the mechanic) that R&Rd my engine (in record breaking time) is the "Bomb". I still haven't found the cape nor the "S" marked on the front of his uniform but I know it's there somewhere. This type of teamwork makes for a happy customer and a very successful business.
